GLH of Lewes, LLC has requested a modification of its irrigation water allocation permit for one proposed irrigation well and two existing irrigation wells. The requested allocation is 0.11 million gallons (MG) per day, 2.11 MG per month, and 9.52 MG per year. The wells will be located south of Lewes in Sussex County, near the intersection of Gills Neck Road and Kings Highway. Tax parcel 335-12.00-3.11.

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received by March 22, 2021, at 4:30 p.m. A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
