The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, Division of Water, hereby gives notice that a permit application for the construction of wastewater conveyance has been received concerning the following:

Fusco Properties proposes to install a duplex submersible sanitary sewer pump station, approximately sixty-five linear feet (65 LF) of four (4) inch diameter sanitary sewer force main and related appurtenances to serve two hundred and twenty-six (226) detached single family homes in the proposed Stratus Estates subdivision located on the east and west side of Stockley Road, just north of the Cool Spring Road intersection southeast of Harbeson in Sussex County, Delaware. The proposed pump station will be located within the proposed subdivision on the west side of Stockley Road about ½ mile north of the Cool Spring Road intersection. The proposed sanitary sewer force main will discharge to existing force main in Stockley Road..

A public hearing concerning the above application will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious request for a hearing is received on or before August 2, 2023. A request for a public hearing shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
