The Department invites public comment on a proposal to clean-up the 1039-1043 Clifford Brown Walk site located in Wilmington’s Eastside. The Site has had various uses including residential rowhomes and offices of a former tannery. The Proposed Plan includes the requirements of a restriction on use of groundwater at the Site, capping contaminated soils with DNREC approved materials, and long-term stewardship to eliminate the exposure of future Site users to existing Site soils and groundwater.
Details of the Proposed Plan are available online at: www.nav.dnrec.delaware.gov/DEN3/
The comment period ends on April 27, 2021. For additional information, please contact Caleb Melvin, Project Manager at (302) 395-2600 or via email at RS_Public_Comments@delaware.gov.
