The Department invites public comment on a proposal to clean-up the 3700 N Market Street Site (DE-1726) located at 3700 N. Market Street in Wilmington. The Site contained several underground storage tanks (USTs). The Site was developed in the early 1930s and has historically been used as a gas station and auto repair shop.

The Site will require a portion of the property to be capped with either impervious material or 1 foot of soil. In addition, an environmental covenant will restrict groundwater usage and soil disturbances on the site. A contaminated materials management plan and long term stewardship plan will be in place to ensure the continued protectiveness of the remedy.
