The Hazardous Substance Cleanup Act (HSCA), 7 Del. C. § 9107 (a)(1), requires the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC) to provide “public notification within 20 days after entering into negotiations for a voluntary cleanup settlement agreement with any person that agrees to perform a remedy.”

As required by § 9107 (a)(1), DNREC advises that it is negotiating a Voluntary Cleanup Program (VCP) Agreement with Schooner Landing, LLC regarding the Schooner Landing Site (DE-1766) located at Lighthouse Road and Polly Branch Road, Selbyville, DE. The Site is identified by Sussex County as tax parcel number 533-17.00-109.00. The Site requires remedial action due to historic activities on site.
