The Hazardous Substance Cleanup Act (HSCA), 7 Del. C. § 9107 (a)(1), requires the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC) to provide “public notification within 20 days after entering into negotiations for a voluntary cleanup settlement agreement with any person that agrees to perform a remedy.”
As required by § 9107 (a)(1), DNREC advises that it is negotiating a Voluntary Cleanup Program (VCP) Agreement with City of Dover regarding the Dover Power Plant, McKee Run Plant, Site (DE-0269) located at 880 Buttner Place, Dover, DE. The Site is identified as portions of Kent County tax parcel number 2-05-06711-01-0100.0001. The Site requires remedial action due to historic activities on site. For Site-specific information, please see DNREC’s Environmental Navigator at www.nav.dnrec.delaware.gov/DEN3.
