The Department has adopted a plan regarding the clean-up of the Martin Automotive Site located in New Castle, Delaware. The Site, once used as a gasoline filling station and automotive service repair shop requires an Environmental Covenant restricting the Site to non-residential uses, restricting groundwater and deep soil use, and requiring a Contaminated Material Management Plan. The site is proposed to be redeveloped for commercial purposes.
DNREC issued public notice of the Proposed Plan for the Martin Automotive Site on June 14, 2020. There were no comments or questions from the public regarding the Proposed Plan. Details of the Final Plan are available online at: www.nav.dnrec.delaware.gov/DEN3/
