The Department has adopted a plan regarding the clean-up of the 2603 Kirkwood Highway Site located in Newark. The Site has historically operated as a gas station. The Site requires a restriction on use of groundwater at the Site and the development and implementation of a Contaminated Materials Management Plan.

DNREC issued a public notice of the Proposed Plan for the 2603 Kirkwood Highway Site on July 14, 2021. There were no comments or questions from the public regarding the Proposed Plan.
