The Department has adopted a plan regarding the clean-up of the 101 South DuPont Highway Site located in New Castle. The Site, once used as gasoline service station, requires a restriction on the use of groundwater and groundwater monitoring. The amended plan documents the addition of an in-situ chemical oxidation remedy.

DNREC issued public notice of the Amended Proposed Plan for the 101 South DuPont Highway Site on December 16, 2020. There were no comments or questions from the public regarding the Amended Proposed Plan. Details of the Amended Final Plan are online at: www.nav.dnrec.delaware.gov/DEN3/
