Notice has been given that:
Mountaire Farms, Inc., requests a permit to construct and operate a 4,000 bushel/hour propane fired column dryer at their 3009 North Little Creek Rd., Little Creek, Kent County facility. The grain dryer will be permitted to emit 5.87 TPY PM10, 0.007 TPY SO2, 4.997 TPY NOx, 2.9 TPY CO, and 0.39 TPY VOC by Permit# APC-2021/0012-CONSTRUCTION/OPERATION (MNSR).

A public hearing on any of the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC receives a request for a hearing regarding that application within 15 days from the date of this notice, ending August 31, 2020. A request for a hearing shall be in writing. The request must also show a familiarity with the application and a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
