Notice has been given that the City of Wilmington has applied for a permit (WT-2020/03) to remove exterior lead-containing coatings from an outdoor water tank by dry abrasive blasting. This activity will be located at 3067 New Castle Avenue, New Castle.

A public hearing on the above application will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC receives a request for a hearing regarding that application within 15 days from the date of this notice, ending April 5. A request for a hearing shall be in writing. The request must also show a familiarity with the application and a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
