Artesian Water Company, Inc. (Wilmington Manor) has applied for a modification of its public water allocation which is connected to a larger system serving approximately 209,000 residents in New Castle County. The application includes two existing public wells. The requested allocation is 1.152 MG per day, 34.56 MG per month, and 284.7 MG per year.

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received by January 4, 2021, at 4:30 p.m. A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
