The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, Division of Water, hereby gives notice that a permit application has been received from:
Country Rest Home, Inc., of Greenwood, Delaware, to install three packaged grinder pump stations and related appurtenances and two thousand, three hundred and eighty-five linear feet (2,385 LF) of 1.5” and 2” HDPE 11 forcemain to serve the Country Life Community, located approximately two miles west of Greenwood, on Route 16, north of the University Road and Route 16 intersection, Greenwood, Sussex County, Delaware. The grinder pump stations and the forcemains will be located within the Country Life Community property.

A public hearing concerning the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious request for a hearing is received on or before May 17, 2020. A request for a public hearing shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
