The Ground Water Discharges Section (GWDS) is soliciting those Class B Designers and Class C Designers (Professional Engineer) interested in applying for consideration to become a member of the On-Site Systems Advisory Board (OSSAB) representing your peers. The terms begin July 1, 2020 and expire June 30, 2023 for each position. The OSSAB meets the first Wednesday of every month in the DNREC R & R Building. The OSSAB handles all matters involving licensure of on-site professionals performing work within the State of Delaware. Some duties include, but are not limited to, reviewing new license applications, enforcement issues, recommendation for license suspension/revocation, etc.
OSSAB members serve at the discretion of the Secretary and make recommendations on behalf of the DNREC licensed professionals to the Secretary. The Regulations require notification of licensee’s sixty (60) days prior to term expiration. The complete details regarding the OSSAB may be found in Section 4.14 of the Regulations.
