2Kuz & Landon Septic Services LLC has applied to the Groundwater Discharges Section for a Non-Hazardous Liquid Waste Transporters Permit to transport septage; holding tank waste; grease trap waste and/or cooking oil waste; and portable toilet waste, to be disposed of at the Sussex County Sewer System and out-of-state permitted facilities.
Sussex County has applied to the Groundwater Discharges Section for an amendment to their Non-Hazardous Liquid Waste Transporters Permit to include the transport of sludge to be disposed of at county-owned wastewater treatment facilities.

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received within 15 days from this notice. A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
