Chase Oaks DE, LLC has requested an allocation permit for three proposed irrigation wells. The requested allocation is 0.165 million gallons (MG) per day, 4.632 MG per month, and 23.16 MG per year. The wells will be located south of Lewes in Sussex County, near the intersection of Robinsonville and Webbs Landing Roads. Tax parcel 234-6.00-98.00.

Edward Steen has requested an allocation permit for two existing irrigation wells and one proposed irrigation well. The requested allocation is 1.36 million gallons (MG) per day, 21.72 MG per month, and 89.61 MG per year. The wells will be located east of Laurel in Sussex County, near the intersection of Hitch Pond and Laurel Roads. Tax parcel 232-19.00-7.00.

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received by April 19, 2021, at 4:30 p.m. A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
