Mid-Shore Properties, LLC has requested an allocation permit for one proposed irrigation well with a capacity of 1,400 gpm. The requested allocation is 2.0 MGD, 61.1 MG per month, and 135.0 MG per year. The well will be located 4 miles Northwest of Seaford in Sussex County, on Neal School Road. Tax parcel 5-31-05.00-0035.00.

Charles H West Farms has requested an allocation permit for one proposed irrigation well with a capacity of 800 gpm. The requested allocation is 1.2 MGD, 34.6 MG per month, and 138.2 MG per year. The well will be located 3 miles South of Frederica in Kent County, on Blue Jay Lane. Tax parcel MD-00-151.00-01-44.00.000.

MMW Investments, LLC has requested an allocation permit for one proposed irrigation well with a capacity of 900 gpm. The requested allocation is 1.3 MGD, 20.64 MG per month, and 41.3 MG per year. The well will be located 1.9 miles South of Harbeson in Sussex County, on Johnson Road. Tax parcel 2-34-09.00-0032.07.

Duane T Fox, Sr has requested an allocation permit for one proposed irrigation well with a capacity of 200 gpm. The requested allocation is 0.30 MGD, 2.0 MG per month, and 4.0 MG per year. The well will be located 2.9 miles West of Slaughter Beach in Sussex County, on Rutt Road. Tax parcel 2-30-08.00-0004.04.

DRP DE1 LLC has requested an allocation permit for one proposed irrigation well with a capacity of 200 gpm. The requested allocation is 0.10 MGD, 1.8 MG per month, and 12.6 MG per year. The well will be located 0.3 miles North of Bayard in Sussex County, on Peppers Corner Road. Tax parcel 1-34-18.00-0055.02.

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received by March 16, 2023, at 4:30 p.m. A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
