Notice is hereby given by the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control that ASAP Tire Acquisition, LLC (ASAP) has applied for Solid Waste Facility Permit #SW-23-04 (Permit), issued to ASAP to operate a recycling facility located at 300 Anchor Mill Road in New Castle, DE.

A public hearing on the above permit modification will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC receives a meritorious request for such a hearing within fifteen (15) days from the date of this notice, ending August 14, 2023. A request for a hearing shall be in writing and shall state the nature of the issues to be raised at the hearing. It must also show a familiarity with the permit application and include a reasoned statement explaining the probable impact of the new permit.
