Notice is hereby given by the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control that Mt Cuba Center (MCC) has applied for Solid Waste Facility Permit #SW-23-12 (Permit), issued to MCC to operate a solid waste facility located at 3120 Barley Mill Road, in Hockessin, DE.

A public hearing on the above permit modification will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC receives a meritorious request for such a hearing within fifteen (15) days from the date of this notice, ending November 13, 2023. A request for a hearing shall be in writing and shall state the nature of the issues to be raised at the hearing. It must also show a familiarity with the permit application and include a reasoned statement explaining the probable impact of the new permit.
