Notice has been given that:
Maryland Environmental Service, requests an (operating) permit to construct or operate a mobile 765 HP grinder for 60 hours per rolling twelve (12) month period, at 114 Dump Rd, Clayton, Kent County facility. The grinder at all four facilities (DSWA Southern, DSWA Central, DSWA Cherry Island, and Town of Clayton) will be permitted to emit 0.10 TPY THC, 1.89 TPY NOx, 0.40 TPY SO2, 0.61 TPY CO, and 0.63 TPY PT by Permit# APC-2015/0005-CONSTRUCTION/OPERATION (Amendment 5).
The application for this permit may be reviewed upon request. The application is posted at de.gov/dnrecnotices. A public hearing on any of the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC receives a request for a hearing regarding that application within 15 days from the date of this notice, ending January 29, 2024. A request for a hearing shall be in writing. The request must also show a familiarity with the application and a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
