Notice has been given that:
Delaware Recyclable Products, Inc. (DRPI), requests a construction Permit # APC-2022/0035-CONSTRUCTION to install an automated drain sump in the existing condensate drain of the Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) pretreatment system at their 246 Marsh Lane, City and County of New Castle landfill. The proposed automated drain sump will allow DRPI to inject sufficient water into the landfill gas to optimize the capture of H2S by the H2S pretreatment system and extend the service life of the capture media used in the pretreatment system. The permitted emission limits of the Facility’s synthetic minor Permit: APC-1995/0372-OPERATION(Amendment 7)(MNSR)(SM) will remain unchanged.

A public hearing on any of the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC receives a request for a hearing regarding that application within 15 days from the date of this notice, ending Monday, November 29, 2021. A request for a hearing shall be in writing. The request must also show a familiarity with the application and a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
