Notice has been given that:

Diamond Materials, LLC, requests a Natural Minor permit to construct and operate one (1) Peterson 6710D Horizontal Wood Grinder at the Jones Crossroads Landfill Facility located at 28560 Landfill Lane, Georgetown, Sussex County, Delaware. The Wood Grinder will be limited to a maximum of 500 hours of operation per year and will be permitted to emit 2.12 TPY of total PM, 0.004 TPY of SOX, 2.73 TPY of NOX, 0.88 TPY of CO and 0.14 TPY of VOC by Permit# APC-2023/0063-CONSTRUCTION.

A public hearing on any of the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC receives a request for a hearing regarding that application within 15 days from the date of this notice, ending April 17, 2023. A request for a hearing shall be in writing. The request must also show a familiarity with the application and a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
