The DNREC Division of Climate, Coastal and Energy will conduct a public hearing (Docket #2025-R-CCE-0008) on proposed revisions to the State Energy Conservation Code regulations. Public comment period closed.

The objective of revising the Regulations for State Energy Conservation Code (7 DE Admin. Code 2101) is to adopt updated versions of the International Energy Conservation Code and the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) standards with zero net energy capable amendments.

The proposed amendments will be available online in the July 2025 edition of the State Register of Regulations.

The Department will accept public comment through the close of business on Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2025. Comments will be accepted in written form via email to DNRECHearingComments@delaware.gov, using the online form at de.gov/dnreccomments, or by U.S. mail to the address on this page.
