The DNREC Division of Climate, Coastal and Energy will hold a public hearing on the Weatherization Assistance Program federal funding annual application (Docket #2026-WAP-CCE-0005). Public comment period open through Sept. 15, 2026.

The purpose of the annual federal funding application is to invest federal funds towards weatherizing the homes of income-eligible households in Delaware. Funded services will include air sealing, insulation, ventilation repairs, and health and safety measures such as air quality and moisture control.
