Drop-in virtually to learn more about a new grant for PFAS awareness and outreach.
Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances, known as PFAS, include thousands of synthetic chemicals that have been used throughout the world in manufacturing, firefighting and consumer products since the 1940s.
The Department of Health and Social Services (DHSS) and the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC) are offering grant funding for projects to increase awareness and outreach about PFAS in Delaware.
This is one of a series of Office Hours at which grant applicants and stakeholders can ask questions of both DHSS and DNREC regarding the grant application, on-going projects and general project questions.
The Office Hour events follow a Nov. 6 webinar (Introduction to the Delaware PFAS Awareness and Outreach Grant) and will be held in November, December and January. The Office Hours will be posted on the State Public Meeting Calendar, the DNREC Events Calendar, and on the DNREC PFAS in Delaware web page.
