If you’ve ever wondered what’s the best thing to do when you spot an injured animal, how you may be able to tell if a wild animal is abandoned, or how injured wildlife is taken care of in Delaware, then join us for this talk.

Tonyea Mead, President of the Delaware Council of Wildlife Rehabilitators and Educators, will discuss how to react to sick and injured wild animals in our state. Learn all about the Council’s mission, best practices when spotting a sick or injured animal and how you can support their work during this one-hour lecture.

This lecture will take place at the DuPont Nature Center and will be available as a live webinar. Join in-person or online. It is one of a weekly winter lecture series presenting information on the amazing environmental work being done across the state.
