The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control will host volunteers at more than 45 sites around the state during the 2024 Delaware Coastal Cleanup, on Saturday Sept. 14, 2024 (Rain Date: Sept. 21).
Volunteers can register for cleanup sites in State Wildlife Areas (blue dots) and State Parks (red dots) statewide, and on beaches in Kent County (green dots) and Sussex County (purple dots).
There are limits on how many people can help clean a site at any one time. The registration form asks for three site preferences. Registrants will get a follow-up email with confirmation and a site location a week or two before the event.
The sites are listed below, by county, and are shown on a cleanup site map as well. Sites that are full, and no longer open to new signups, are shown with a “strikethrough.”
