The Town of Middletown has submitted an application for a operation permit for an on-site wastewater treatment and disposal system. The system has been designed to accommodate 875,000 gallons per day of wastewater. The site is located approximately 0.15 miles southwest of the intersection of St. Anne’s Blvd and Kilts Ln, New Castle County, tax parcel # 23-043.00-001.
Mark Yoder, Jr. has submitted an application for a construction permit for an on-site wastewater treatment and disposal system to serve the Country Life Community development. The system has been designed to accommodate 13,500 gallons per day of wastewater. The site is located at 6939 Hickman Rd, Sussex County, tax parcel #5-30-9.00-004.00.
Springcap II, LLC has submitted an application for a Temporary Holding Tank Permit to serve the Woods at Burton Pond Subdivision. The system has been designed to accommodate 2,880 gallons per day of wastewater. The site is located at the south side of Conley’s Chapel Rd, approximately 0.75 miles east of the intersection of Beaver Dam Rd and Conley’s Chapel Rd, Sussex County, tax parcel #2-34-11.00-0072.00.
P.E. Kramme, Inc. has applied to the Groundwater Discharges Section for a renewal of Non-Hazardous Liquid Waste Transporters Permit DE OH-025 which allows for the transport of wastewater generated by washing edible food grade tank carriers utilizing USDA approved wash products, to be disposed of at the New Castle County Sewer System.

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received within 15 days from this notice. A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
