The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, Division of Water, hereby gives notice that the following notice, advertised on April 1, 2020, is being WITHDRAWN:
Sussex County proposes to construct three treated wastewater effluent spray irrigation fields as an expansion to their existing Inland Bays Regional Wastewater Treatment Facility located northeast of Millsboro in Sussex County. These proposed fields are to be constructed in existing forested lands owned by Sussex County. The first field is approximately two hundred (200) acres and located between Mount Joy Road, Lawson Road and Hollyville Road. The second field is approximately two hundred and thirty (230) acres and is bordered on the west by Townsend Road, on the south by Mount Joy Road and on the north by Inland Bay Road. The third field is approximately one hundred (100) acres and located on the northeast corner of Townsend Road and Inland Bay Road.
This project will be re-advertised at a later date after additional review by the Delaware Department of Natural Resources. Questions regarding this withdrawal can be directed to:
