Artesian Wastewater Management, Inc. has applied to the Groundwater Discharges Section for an amendment to their Non-Hazardous Liquid Waste Transporters Permit to include the transport of septage to be disposed of with the Kent Counter Sewer System and biosolids to be disposed of with the Sussex County Sewer System.

Johnson Electrical Construction Inc. has applied to the Groundwater Discharges Section for a renewal of Non-Hazardous Liquid Waste Transporters Permit DE OH-123 which allows for the transport of portable toilet waste to be disposed of at the Kent County Sewer System.

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received within 15 days from this notice.  A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
