Request to Amend/Renew Existing Agricultural Utilization (AGU) Permit
Notice is hereby given that Clean Delaware has applied to DNREC-SWDS for an amendment of existing agricultural utilization permit (State Permit Number AGU 1702-S-03), which permits the land application of stabilized biosolids generated at small volume wastewater treatment facilities and other approved land treatable wastes. Items to be amended include the ability to apply certain land treatable wastes that do not contain a sanitary component directly onto a vegetative cover without incorporation into the soil, updating field acreages based on a new land survey, allowing septage application onto additional fields, and the adjustment of the frequency of sampling of land applied materials. Should the permit be amended, the Department will add additional to the existing permit to ensure a successful agricultural utilization program.
