The Department has adopted a plan regarding the clean-up of John’s Body Shop located in Wilmington. The Site, once used as an automobile repair and paint shop, required lead and asbestos abatement, removal of impacted sediment from onsite catch basins, and recording an Environmental Covenant.    

DNREC issued a public notice of the Proposed Plan for the John’s Body Shop Site on July 24, 2019.  There were no comments or questions from the public regarding the Proposed Plan.  Details of the Final Plan are available at the office of DNREC-RS (391 Lukens Drive, New Castle, DE, 19720) or online at:
