Subaqueous Lands Permits

Rhett and Cynthia Ruggerio (334-20.09-120.01) – To install an 88 foot long rock sill, place 11 cubic yards of clean sand fill material between the rock sill and uplands and install two types of sedges (Tussock Sedge & Lurid Sedge) to enhance existing shoreline habitat and to construct a 4 by 30 foot long pier and 5 by 25 foot long “T” dock in Silver Lake, located at 20358 Silver Lake Drive, Silver Lake Shores, Rehoboth Beach, Sussex County, DE.

Steven K. Davidson and Claudia Callaway (334-20.10-12.00) – To construct a 4 by 20 foot long pier and a 4 by 15 foot long dock in Silver Lake located at 27 Chesapeake Street, Dewey Beach, Sussex County, DE.

Aaron Puckett (134-8.00-69.02) – To install 160 linear feet of rip-rap consisting of 30 cubic yards of material for bank stabilization, adjacent to 37513 Seaside Drive, White Creek at Bethany Subdivision, Ocean View, Sussex County, DE.

Christine Hudson (133-19.00-342.00) – To construct a 4 by 35 foot long pier in Lakeview Pond at 29728 Springwood Drive, Lake Wood Estates, Millsboro, Sussex County, DE.

Toby and Alexandra Chrostowski (134-20.11-34.00) – To remove a 4 by 12 foot long section of an existing 4 by 48 foot long dock, to relocate a previously authorized boat lift with associated catwalk and to install a 1.5 by 4 foot long catwalk extension, a 6 by 12 foot long double PWC lift with one (1) associated piling and two (2) associated 1.5 by 12 foot long catwalks in Cedar Pond at 39667 Baltimore Street, Bay View Park, South Bethany, Sussex County, DE.

Subaqueous Lands Lease

Ronald C. Orie, Jr. & Michele A. Orie (134-23.12-11.00) – To relocate a 5 by 25 foot long dock and install a boat lift with four (4) associated pilings and a dual PWC lift with four (4) associated pilings in the Little Assawoman Bay at 1212 North Schultz Rd, Fenwick Island, Sussex County, DE.

Rolf U. Mair (234-24.00-22.00) – To utilize and maintain an existing 4 by 88 foot long pier, a 10 by 12 foot long dock and to relocate a boat lift with four (4) associated pilings in Herring Creek at 35464 Council Lane, Sea View Subdivision, Lewes, Sussex County, DE.

Chesapeake Utilities (adjacent to 232-12.19-30.00 & 332-1.07-154.00) – To retire an existing 4-inch diameter steel gas main and to install by directional bore a 4-inch diameter, 95 foot long natural gas pipeline at a minimum depth of 5 feet below the mudline of Broad Creek located within a DelDOT Right-of-Way on the east side of Delaware Avenue, Laurel, Sussex County, DE.

Gerald DeGrazio and Francis DeGrazio (234-17.00-31.05) – To construct a 4 by 140 foot long pier, a 6 by 30 foot long dock and to install a 6 by 12 foot long floating kayak dock with an associated ladder, a boat lift with four (4) associated pilings and a PWC lift with one (1) associated piling in Herring Creek, located on an undeveloped lot west of Multiflora Drive, Harbeson, Sussex County, DE.

Subaqueous Lands Permit and Marina Permit

Division of Fish and Wildlife (SM-00-105.00-01-23.00) – To construct a 20 by 70 foot long boat ramp extending approximately 54 feet channelward of mean high water, and to install 162 linear feet of steel sheetpile as scour protection along the boat ramp perimeter, rip rap aprons on the upstream side and downstream side of the new ramp and to install an 8 by 53 foot long floating dock, an 8 by 25 foot long floating dock, utilizing 212 cubic yards of fill material in the Saint Jones River, at Scotton Landing, Barkers Landing Road, Magnolia, Kent County, DE.

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received within 20 days from this notice. Please indicate in your letter whether your intention is to request a public hearing or whether you are simply providing comments for the Department’s consideration. If a public hearing is desired, please be advised that a public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
