Division of Fish and Wildlife (2-33-7.00-10.00) – To maintain an existing 4 by 105 foot long pier, and a 6 by 25 foot long dock, and to construct a 3.5 foot tall hand rail on the entire perimeter of the existing structure, in Pepper Creek, at 30988 Piney Neck Road, Dagsboro, Sussex County, DE. 

Subaqueous Lands Permit & Wetlands Permit

Delaware Department of Transportation (1-34-5.00-172.00) – To temporarily impact 857 square feet (.0197 acres) of state-regulated tidal wetlands for the construction of an entrance and to maintain an existing outfall location (Location 24) by removing 43 cubic yards of sediment from the outfall and adjacent ditch corridor to allow for positive drainage. The channel material consisting of 43 cubic yards will be utilized to enhance the adjacent marsh through thin layer application. The proposed activities are located along State Route 1 (SR1), approximately 1.5 miles south of Indian River Inlet in Bethany Beach, Sussex County, DE

If a public hearing is desired, please be advised that a public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
