The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, Division of Water, hereby gives notice that a permit application for the construction of wastewater conveyance has been received concerning the following:

Roxana Apartments, LLC proposes to install a duplex submersible sanitary sewer pump station, approximately two thousand five hundred and thirty-three linear feet (2,533 LF) of eight (8) inch diameter sanitary sewer force main and related appurtenances to serve a proposed one hundred and thirty-six (136) unit apartment complex located on the east side of Roxana Road just north of the Cross Gate Road intersection in Ocean View, Delaware. The proposed force main will be installed along the west side of Roxana Road from the apartment complex to a proposed gravity sanitary sewer system along Lucinda Drive. The connection to the Lucinda Road sanitary sewer will be temporary until Sussex County constructs a future force main.

A public hearing concerning the above application will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious request for a hearing is received on or before December 11, 2022. A request for a public hearing shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
