The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, Division of Water, hereby gives notice that a permit application has been received from:
Canterbury Land Development proposes to construct a submersible sanitary sewer pump station and approximately one thousand three hundred and thirty-four linear feet (1,334 LF) of four (4) inch diameter force main to serve the proposed five hundred and forty-two (542) single family home Hatteras subdivision. The proposed subdivision will be located just southwest of the intersection of Clapham Rd. and Sophers Row south of Magnolia in Kent County, Delaware. The proposed four (4) inch diameter force main will run along the north side of the property (tax parcel # 8-00-11300-02-3200) from the pump station near Sophers Row to an existing thirty-six (36) inch diameter force main along the west side of Clapham Rd.

A public hearing concerning the above application will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious request for a hearing is received on or before December 9, 2020. A request for a public hearing shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
