The Hazardous Substance Cleanup Act (HSCA), 7 Del. C. § 9107 (a)(1), requires the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC) to provide “public notification within 20 days after entering into negotiations for a voluntary cleanup settlement agreement with any person that agrees to perform a remedy.”

As required by § 9107 (a)(1), DNREC advises that it is negotiating a Voluntary Cleanup Program (VCP) Agreement with the State of Delaware division of Facilities Maintenance regarding the 516 North King Street and Alico Road OU-2 Site (DE-0371) located at 516 North King Street and Alico Road, Wilmington, DE. The Site is identified as New Castle County tax parcel number 2603540084. The Site requires remedial action due to historic activities on site.
