The Department has adopted a plan regarding the clean-up of the Ed’s Texaco Site located in Newark. The Site was previously operated as a gasoline filling station. The Site requires a restriction on use of groundwater to ensure elimination of exposure to existing groundwater for future Site users.

DNREC issued a public notice of the Proposed Plan for the Ed’s Texaco Site on September 3, 2023. There were no comments or questions from the public regarding the Proposed Plan. Details of the Final Plan are available online at: den.dnrec.delaware.gov
