Final Plan of Remedial Action for 1000 Eastlawn Avenue Site (DE-1739)

Division of Waste and Hazardous Substances

Published: April 27, 2022

The Department has adopted a plan regarding the clean-up of the 1000 Eastlawn Avenue Site located in Wilmington. The Site consists of a vacant lot. It was reportedly used as a stormwater basin from the 1990s through the early 2000s but was subsequently filled with material from an unknown source. The Site requires excavation of PAH impacted soils at an identified hotspot location. An environmental covenant is also required to restrict groundwater use at the property.

DNREC issued a public notice of the Proposed Plan for the 1000 Eastlawn Avenue Site on April 3, 2022. There were no comments or questions from the public regarding the Proposed Plan. Details of the Final Plan are available online at: den.dnrec.delaware.gov
