The Department invites public comment on a proposal to clean-up the A.M. Domino Site located in Wilmington. The Site is a former auto repair and salvage yard, and the following remedial actions were previously required: Cap the Site, an Environmental Covenant to restrict the Site to non-residential use and limit groundwater withdrawal, a Contaminated Materials Management Plan, and a Long-Term Stewardship Plan that requires groundwater monitoring. The Amended Proposed Plan reflects a change to the Environmental Covenant and Long-Term Stewardship Plan that requires a supplemental vapor intrusion assessment prior to the construction of any occupiable buildings on the Site in the future.
Details of the Amended Proposed Plan are available online at: www.nav.dnrec.delaware.gov/DEN3/
The comment period ends on March 15, 2021. For additional information, please contact Stephanie Gordon, Project Manager at (302) 395-2600 or via email at RS_Public_Comments@delaware.gov.
