Learn about who lived in some of the shells you find on the beach.
Our beaches are lined with shells of all shapes, colors, and sizes, but they’re often more than meets the eye. Learn how those shells are made, who lived in them, and how to distinguish them from one another.
Then, join a guided walk along the beach to seek out the shells discussed and practice your new identification skills.
All ages are welcome, though some material may be complex for younger visitors.
