The DNREC Division of Parks and Recreation will host a community workshop to review two projects identified as high priorities in the White Clay Creek State Park Master Plan.
The wooden Nature Center Bridge – the only public vehicular access to the Nature Center, summer camps and adjacent trailhead – need to be replaced. The current bridge is subject to frequent flooding, requiring emergency repairs.
A planned new Nature Center would provide classroom and program space to meet a growing demand for programs and would provide needed accessibility.
