The Wetland Definition Subcommittee of the Wetlands Regulatory Advisory Committee will meet Friday, Oct. 2, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.

Members of the public may register to attend the meeting virtually here or view the virtual meeting in-person at the R & R Building, 89 Kings Highway, Dover, DE 19901 (Wetlands Conference Room).

Opportunities for public input will be provided during the public comment period. Public input can also be emailed to DNREC_Wetlands_RAC@delaware.gov.

Goals
Launch the Wetland Definition Subcommittee, including reviewing the group’s charge and scope.
Begin discussing options around the definitions for wetlands, tidal wetlands, and nontidal wetlands to put before the Wetlands Regulatory Advisory Committee (RAC) for consideration.
Determine questions to ask of the RAC to inform further subcommittee deliberations.
