The Division of Waste and Hazardous Substances will conduct a public hearing (Docket #2020-R-WH-0020) on proposed revisions to the Regulations Governing Hazardous Waste. Public comment period closed.

The state proposes to revise the Regulations Governing Hazardous Waste (7 DE Admin. Code 1302) to adopt federal hazardous waste regulations promulgated by the United States Environmental Protection Agency that are required in order for Delaware to maintain its program authorization by ensuring the State program is equivalent to the federal program.

The proposed amendments may be inspected online on the Delaware Register of Regulations website or in-person by appointment only by contacting contact Melissa Ferree by phone at 302-739-9403; or by email at Melissa.Ferree@delaware.gov.

The hearing record will remain open for at least 15 days following the date of the hearing. The Department will accept public comment through the close of business on Friday, September 11, 2020.
