Learn the top 3 things you need to know about water quality advisories in Delaware.

DNREC monitors waterbodies commonly used for swimming, shellfish harvesting and other recreational activities to provide the public with guidance about water quality.

When appropriate the state issues alerts for recreational water activity and about shellfish harvesting along the First State’s coastline and bays.

DNREC Environmental Scientist Ashley Tabibian will provide helpful information on water quality advisories (what they mean and why they exist), and how to enjoy the shellfish many of us love to eat.

This is part of the Top 3 in 30 webinar series — brief, informative webinars focused on resilience and restoration issues in Delaware offered by the DNREC Coastal Training Program.

The 2026 Top 3 in 30 webinars are held on the third Thursday of every month at 2 p.m. The webinars are free, but registration is required.
