The DelDOT Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) and DelDOT’s Active Transportation and Community Connections Section help communities create safer, healthier and more connected places through investments in walking, bicycling, trails, streetscape enhancements and community-focused transportation projects.
DelDOT Active Transportation and Community Connections planning supervisor Kelly Valencik will discuss the top three ways these programs can help communities secure funding, advance local priorities and implement projects that improve safety and sustainability through connectivity for communities.
