Mark your calendar for a planned tree giveaway.

The Sussex Conservation District plans to give away 500 native trees as part of the Tree for Every Delawarean Initiative (TEDI).

Nine native tree species will be available — one per person on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Tree for Every Delawarean Initiative is a collaborative effort involving DNREC, the Delaware Forest Service and other key stakeholders.
