The DNREC Division of Water will conduct a public hearing on Sunrise Ventures, LLC’s application to construct a new 20 slip marina located south of the intersection of Kaitlyn Drive and Oyster House Road, in Rehoboth Beach. (Public Comment Period Closed)
Sunrise Ventures, LLC proposes to construct a new 20 slip minor marina, stabilize the shoreline in separate areas by installing riprap revetment and bulkhead, construct two stormwater outfall aprons, dredge 265± cubic yards to a depth ranging from -0.8 feet to -3.5 feet MLW in the Lewes and Rehoboth Canal, and to dispose of the dredged material via off-loading from a barge and then trucking to a previously approved borrow pit disposal area located northeast of the intersection of Irons Lane and Old Mill Road.
