The DNREC Division of Energy and Climate is applying for U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) new 2023 program funds. The mission of WAP is to reduce energy loss and consumption in the homes of low-income Delawareans, creating healthier and more comfortable homes while reducing energy bills.
This new application continues the work outlined in DNREC’s previous Weatherization Program State Plans. The new 2023 grant application requests approval to use $833,863 of new federal FY 2023 funds.
