Join Kent County Parks and Recreation to plant trees and perform other activities to improve the Hunn Nature Park.

Families, individuals, groups and volunteer organizations are welcome to help Kent County observe Earth Day 2022. Volunteers will plant a limited number of trees, mulch trees, remove unwanted vegetation, surface trails and pick up litter within the Hunn Nature Park.

This event is appropriate for all ages and abilities. Please bring leather work gloves, hard-soled, lace-up shoes or boots, a round-point shovel, a garden rake and tree pruning loppers. There will be a limited amount of rakes and shovels on site. Be sure to dress appropriately for outdoor work and the weather.
